Barbara A. Newton

I was born in Australia and began my art career graduating with distinction from a Fine Art course at the Bald Hills Technical College. I have attended many art seminars and painting tutorials since then in order to diversify my skills.

My Paintings have been exhibited in various art galleries including White Patch on Bribie Island, Artists' Own Gallery in Brisbane, Bronzewing Art Gallery in Montville and Cronulla Art Gallery in Mt Tamborine, Queensland.

I have been a member of the Queensland Art Collective Inc. for 20 years where I exhibit and sell my art throughout Brisbane.  

I have travelled the world extensively and this is reflected in my artwork where I cover a wide range of subject matter in various painting techniques and mediums.

My other passion is teaching how to draw and paint and I have several classes per week conducted in my studio at home.
